Yave Teams
One Yave account

Build the team once, use it everywhere

A Yave team is a roster kept with your Yave account. Invite someone once, and once they accept, they are a member of every service that team has been brought into. No re-inviting, no second acceptance, service by service.

One invitation email per person · accepted once

Try it here

Press a service card to bring the team in, press again to disconnect. The roster stays in one place either way.

How it works

1. Create the team

Name the team and add the email addresses of the people you work with. Each person gets exactly one invitation email.

2. They accept, once

Accepting is consent. When the owner later brings the team into another service, that person is not asked again.

3. Bring it into a service

A copy of the team is created in the service you choose. Members, roles and policy are edited here, and the change reaches every connected service.

The two kinds of team you'll see here

Yave team

Created here and brought into as many services as you like. The roster lives with Yave, so adding and removing people happens in one place.

Created inside a single service and used only there. This screen asks each service for its list and shows it — Yave does not store these teams.

The rules around a team

Two-factor can be required

You can require that only members with two-factor authentication use the team's resources. Turning it on applies to every connected service — and to the owner too.

Ownership transfer takes two steps

Proposing it needs you to reauthenticate, and the other person can only accept 24 hours later. The owner can withdraw the proposal at any point in between.

Dissolving is reversible

You can cancel during the seven-day grace period, and even after the team is archived the owner can restore it within 30 days.

Anyone can leave

A member can leave on their own, and leaving removes them from every service the team has been brought into.

Common questions

I want the team out of one particular service.

Go to Manage → Connected services and disconnect that service. The copy stays there as an independent team, but membership and policy changes stop flowing to it.

I never got the invitation email.

Sign in and check Invitations — they appear there too. Only invitations sent to your account's verified email address are shown.

Does a team cost anything?

Yave does not charge for teams themselves. Seat limits and pricing are set by each service the team is brought into.

One team, as many services as you need
